I’m running for Sunnyvale City Council - District 4!

As a lifelong public servant, I understand the importance of listening to the community and how public policy decisions can improve people’s lives. I’ve worked at almost all the different levels of government including in the State Legislature, at the County Board of Supervisors, at Peninsula Clean Energy, and in public transportation. Now, I want to bring that experience to the city. I’m running for Sunnyvale City Council to continue building on the city’s important work to ensure all facets of our community can thrive here.

Priorities

I’m completely corporate free and do not accept donations from developers or oil/fossil fuel entities.

My top priorities that I am committed to include:

  • Working with council to be a regional leader to advocate for local, state, and federal funding

  • Support policies that make it easier for our businesses to thrive

  • Advocate for programs that support our youth and seniors

  • Increase access to open space and parks

  • Advocate for policies and funding that support our Department of Public Safety

  • Push for programs that lower vehicle miles traveled including implementation of the Active Transportation Plan

  • Support transit-oriented development and transportation demand management programs

  • Increase emergency response training through programs such as CERT

  • Support projects that improve bicycle and pedestrian safety, including safe routes to school and Vision Zero

I’d also love to hear from you about your ideas!
